Lab Testing

We are constantly striving to integrate the latest technology, methods, and techniques into our facility in an attempt to stay forward and current in preventative healthcare.

No two patients are alike. We believe an individualized approach to wellness is what helps create the most optimal health outcomes. Our providers make testing recommendations based upon each persons unique set of symptoms, health history, concerns, and goals. All labs results are directly interpreted to every patient by a skilled physician. Detailed care plans and follow-up protocols are also recommended with every test.

Lab tests are an integral part of our ability to serve our patients and provide information for the diagnosis, prevention, and optimization of health. We are proud to offer lab testing at our facility to our established patients.

Some of the most common complaints of our patients include:

  • fatigue
  • digestive complaints
  • chronic pain. inflammation
  • migraines
  • weight issues
  • mood disorders: depression, anxiety
  • cardiovascular risk
  • arthritis pain
  • sleep disturbances
  • reproductive issues

A few labs we are proud to partner with include:

Genova Diagnostics

Spectracell Laboratory

Great Plains Laboratory

DiagnosTechs

Some of our most common panels include:

IgG – Food Sensitivity Testing is one of our most commonly used tests. Food sensitivities can both cause and exacerbate a number of unwanted conditions. Some of the symptoms that may lead to the doctor recommending an IgG test include: IBS, Chrohn’s Disease, Depression, Autoimmune disorders, skin rash, obesity, migraine headaches, and  joint aches. Many of these conditions can be alleviated by identifying specific food sensitivities and eliminating the foods from the diet.

NutrEval  – Nutritional Evaluation Test is a comprehensive test to identify key nutritional deficiencies. The NutrEval evaluates overall nutritional status to determine personalized supplementation needs for antioxidants, B-vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, amino acids, digestive support, and other select nutrients. This test is an advanced diagnostic tool to guide nutritional therapies, often augmenting and speeding recovery of complex chronic conditions. Select genomics biomarkers may be added to the profile for enhanced personalization of therapies.

Cardio-Metabolic – Cellular metabolism and the Cardiovascular system (heart and blood vessels) are very intricately linked.  For various reasons – not just age – the body’s metabolism changes.  A person’s individual chemistry controls these changes which can be measured by a CardioMetabolic panel, which delivers three main profiles:  for Glycemic Control, Lipids, and Vascular Inflammation. This test is especially recommended if there is any indication that the heart has been under stress, this includes family history, high cholesterol, high triglycerides, any heart conditions, and if the patient has ever been overweight.

Micronutrient Testing – Micronutrients are a key part of how nutrition plays such a vital role in optimal health. The doctor can recommend a test that is specific for an individual suspected micronutrient deficiency (such as Vitamin D) or for a full panel can include levels of over 35 micronutrients, antioxidants, minerals, amino acids, metabolites, fatty acids and carbohydrate metabolism.

Thyroid Health – Thyroid hormones directly regulate every cell in our body in most basic functions like metabolism, emotions and thinking. This test can also measure several proteins that influence thyroid function, as well as detect antibodies to thyroid which can indicate autoimmune responses (when the immune system attacks healthy tissue) and levels of cortisol, the stress hormone.

Hormone Testing – Comprehensive male and female hormone panels reveal the overall state of hormonal balance in a patient.  Like nutrients, hormones influence all aspects of health and disease – mood, sleep, metabolism, immunity, heart health and appearance.  An imbalance of one hormone can initiate cascade of events that alters other hormones, so a comprehensive look at hormone status is key.

Lab testing can be ordered by one of our doctors for all of our established patients.
