It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We hope this month’s newsletter finds you merry and bright. I am excited to share with you some of the latest news, offers and information about what’s happening this month at Door County Healing Center. Cheers!
We have had amazing feedback from our patients who have been fitted for custom orthotics. Many have reported a significant decrease in knee, hip, and low back pain after beginning to wear orthotics. If you haven’t seen our beautiful new Kiosk in the office, and had your FREE scan yet, simply stop in — it only takes 5 minutes! We are extending our special on this great product for the entire month of December, so there’s still time to take $25 off of each pair you order. Don’t wait, take advantage of this great offer in December!
Last month we had a great turnout for our presentation on Food Sensitivities. It definitely generated a lot of buzz with our attendees! For those of you who missed it and have considered whether or not you or someone you know may have an issue with food sensitivities, we are here to help. We offer specialized lab testing, nutritional consultations, and physician-guided detoxifications programs. Call our office to schedule an appointment and to learn how we use an integrative approach to helping you heal from the inside out.
This month marks the last month that Dr. Melissa Nelson will be adjusting patients at Door County Healing Center. Her last day for chiropractic will be Friday, December 20. This is a monumental milestone for someone who has given her gifts, energy, and talents to serving our community for many years. If you have had the privlege of being under her care in the past, can I encourage you to personally thank her for her divine knowledge and expertise? I know she would be so touched by your gratitude, and what better way to send her into the New Year than with thankfulness!
Let us help you stay healthy by motivating you with some free presentations in January! Our Registered Dietician, Mary Houser, and I will hold a free presentation entitled, “The Role of Gluten in Inflammation and Disease.” We will be discussing how gluten can trigger issues like leaky gut, autoimmune disorders and obesity.
We will also be hosting a Birth Plan Workshop for expecting parents. This workshop will focus on preparation methods for birth and labor by reviewing different pain management options, medical interventions, and breastfeeding. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for more details about these events as we are still finalizing dates and times!
Last but not least I want to extend wishes to you all for a blessed Christmas and holiday season. May the birth of Our Savior fill you with awe and wonder, and may you find joy and comfort in the good company of friends and family. Merry Christmas!
